Temple Run

Temple Run is probably the most used game app on the market.  There are definite reasons why this is so.  Temple Run is a great quick game which you can play while on the go anywhere.  You can play it anywhere and the controls are also very simple.  The story of the game is that you are a guy who has stolen an artifact from an an ancient temple and you have to get to safety before the enemies (monkeys) catch up to you.  This game is never ending and once you are a professional at the game, you can be a world renown high-scorer in Temple Run!  This app is free and is an awesome app in general.  It is a great game and I definitely recommend getting this game for anyone!
       


     
                                       

Oovoo

Oovoo is a very popular video-chatting app.  It originally was a only a computer app, but recently, Oovoo decided to expand to the Iphone, Ipod Touch, and Ipad.  This app is only good for devices that have a front camera such as the Ipod Touch 4th Generation and the IPhones as well as Ipads 2 and 3.  With oovoo, you can videochat with your friends just like you would talk to them in person.  This a great social app for everyone out there.  This app is free, so get it!


                                               

LaDiDa

LaDiDa is a great app for musicians as well as non-musicians.  What you do is chose from the selection of tunes given and you sing along with the beat count.  The app auto tunes your voice and makes you sound like a rock star!  It is great to show-off to your friends what a great voice you have and you will just have a blast using this app.  For just $0.99, you get all of this.  This is a paid app that I would definitely get if I were you!

The Sims 3

The Sim games have always been a popular game for different video game systems.  Sims is very successful franchise in the video gaming business.  There's SimCity, Sims 2, Sims 3, and many more.  Sims 3 is a great game on the Iphone, Ipod Touch, and Ipad.  Sims 3 is a simulation game in which you have a character and you must keep him alive by doing the things you would normally do everyday, such as go to work and going to the bathroom.  It is like having a second life in your pocket and you get to control everything that happens in it.  For $1.99, you will have all of this.  This paid app is definitely worth it!

Optimum

Just as a heads-up, I only recommend the Optimum app for people who have Optimum TV.  If you don't, well then the app is utterly pointless.  Optimum is an app where you can control your TV from your Iphone, Ipod Touch, or Ipad.

You can record movies and shows and even change the channel on your TV from your device.  A great feature to it is that you can watch shows that are going on on TV, right on your device while your TV is off or it someone else is watching a show that you don't want to watch.  It's like having a TV right in your pocket.  The app is free except the fact that you are paying Optimum for your TV plan.  You require a password to open your Optimum account on your device which is provided when you install Optimum as your TV company.  If you have Optimum, get this app!     

Fitness Buddy

Fitness Buddy is a great app for all the body builders out there.  It can also be a start up for some people who just want to pack on some muscles or just lose some weight.  For a meager $0.99, you can do exercises for every part of you body.  There are exercises for:

• Core
• Lower Body
• Chest
• Shoulders
• Back
• Arms

I really like this app because they have different levels of workouts.  There is a:

1. Beginner
2. Intermediate
3. Advanced
4. Expert

There are also many other categories of workout, such as Female Oriented and Bodyweight Only (No Weights).  This is a great way to get up on that horse and start fresh.  I guarantee that you'll be looking lean and fit within just a few weeks!

                                               

SnapChop

SnapChop is a picture app in which you take a picture and then the SnapChop app automatically puts a hilarious caption under it.  SnapChop is just a better and paid version of an app called I'd Cap That (I would recommend this app for the people who don't like to pay for app).  You can change the caption and put a different random caption under it by shaking your device.  There is a limit to how many times you can put different captions you can put on the same picture.  You are only allowed to use the picture for 3 captions.  SnapChop is a hilarious app that will keep you rolling on the ground with laughter!
